Salary: Up to £55,000

We’re working with an award-winning, world-leading, technical & scientific engineering organisation, with sites across Europe, that has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical/Electronic Engineer.
The Electrical/Electronic Engineer role
Are you ready to play a crucial role in cutting-edge projects? We are looking for skilled engineers to support the electrical/electronic aspects of system architecture. Your responsibilities will include specifying electrical requirements, defining interfaces, designing power architectures, and ensuring signal safety.
You’ll be performing an important and key role in one of the many exciting new projects, supporting the electrical/electronic technical aspects of the system architecture and topology of a missile. Along with this you will specify and determine:

Electrical requirements for subsystems/equipment

Interface definitions and characteristics

Power architecture, including load budget and profiles

Data communication and processing architecture

Requirements for EMC, bonding, grounding and screening

Signal safety, including routing of safety-related signals
This role is perfect for experienced engineers or those eager to enhance their engineering skills. Join our dynamic team and engage in technical discussions with equipment suppliers, participate in testing activities, and contribute to various stages of product development.
Electrical/Electronic Engineer experience required.

Ideally a degree or equivalent qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or a related subject

Previous experience working within a similar role

UK/international travel may be required to suppliers, customers, and other sites in UK & Europe.
