The Lead FPGA Designer opportunity
Are you a passionate leader who can inspire others, drive innovation and encourage collaboration? We are looking for an experienced FPGA Lead Design Engineer, with a flair for leading teams and getting the best from their people. You will be working on cutting-edge products and using your extensive FPGA experience to guide, influence and support your team in their delivery.
As an FPGA Lead Designer, you will split your time between working on a range of tasks including advanced signal processing systems (Image\Radio), core embedded processing systems, safety and security-critical systems, and providing technical or functional leadership to our engineers. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to continue their technical role, but also further develop their leadership skills for the future.
Lead FPGA Designer skills and experience required

Proven experience leading FPGA Design teams on complex projects.

Strong desire to drive collaboration and ensure successful delivery.

Extensive experience in generating complex FPGA architectures and design implementations using VHDL, Simulink, etc. Targeting Xilinx, Intel, Microsemi devices.

Proficiency in verifying complex FPGA implementations using VHDL and System Verilog/UVM test-bench methodologies.

Familiarity with FPGA design toolsets and Mentor verification tools (QuestaSim & ModelSim).

Ability to generate low-level software (C) to facilitate FPGA test and integration with the wider embedded system.

Excellent ability to configure and document designs to a high professional standard.
