Location: Stevenage
Salary: Up to £55,000

Working within a world-leading, technical engineering organisation, we currently have a hugely exciting opportunity for a Procurement & Supply Chain Improvement Lead where, as an integral part of the Procurement and Supply Chain(P&SC) Transformation team, you will influence the evolution of the direct procurement performance, capabilities, and practices to ensure efficiencies of today whilst helping to shape and deliver the future of tomorrow.
In this position, you will provide UK P&SC identification, development, and implementation of functional improvement and transformation activities, project manage continuous improvement, provide functional support to improve processes and templates, collaborate functionally and cross-functionally on improvement initiatives and projects, drive efficiency of P&SC initiatives, enhance functional capability through training and coaching tools, techniques and best practices, implement training and development and support and input towards P&SC Transformation and Improvement road map.
As the Procurement & Supply Chain Improvement Lead, you will project manage deliverables against plan and communicate across functions, implement best practice and benchmarking initiatives and work in conjunction with the P&SC leadership team, ensuring that governance is in place as part of improvement control and progress plans.
Procurement & Supply Chain Improvement Lead skills and qualifications required:

Educated to Degree/MCIPS/HND level preferably in a procurement, business, engineering, and manufacturing disciplines, or with equivalent experience

Problem-solving qualification/experience e.g. Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing would be advantageous.

Deep understanding of Source to Pay (S2P) methodologies & Supplier management/improvement.

Project management experience, including creating stakeholder buy-in and engagement, able to manage, deliver and track multiple parallel improvement projects.

Ability to build a culture of continuous improvement, regardless of reporting lines
