Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience

We’re working with an award-winning, world-leading, engineering organisation, with sites across Europe, that has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement & Supply Chain Officer who will support the roll-out of S/4HANA across the business.
 
The Procurement & Supply Chain Officer role:
The role will require working with the Group Procurement & Supply Chain teams, the overall Systems Integrator and partners.
 
Working with and managing key stakeholders inside and outside the business will be key to delivering a successful solution. An ability to communicate a vision for the deployment of and support the teams to learn how to maximise the new system will also be key deliverables.
 
You can expect support from across the business, including at senior levels, to deliver this wide-ranging change programme, with key activities to include:
  • To deliver a common set of S/4HANA Procurement & Supply Chain capabilities, while respecting local legal and regulatory requirements, replacing a range of bespoke systems used today. This role will support and ensure a successful rollout of S/4HANA across the treasury teams in the UK.
  • Support the UK Procurement & Supply Chain input to the design and implementation of a harmonised / standardised process that can be implemented in S/4HANA. You will coordinate with others to leverage and improve a single data source and ways of working that provide context and detail to add value to the process.
  • To represent the needs of the UK Procurement & Supply Chain within the project team and ensure that requirements are given due consideration in the design and implementation phases.
  • Identify opportunities to improve UK Procurement & Supply Chain processes and maximise the benefits of S/4HANA within the function by working closely with colleagues to ensure high level of knowledge and understanding is achieved.
 
Procurement & Supply Chain Officer experience required:
  • Experience in a Procurement & Supply Chain role
  • Must have experience with SAP products or S/4HANA (desirable).
  • Ability to present and articulate a point of view, improvement or working method.
  • Experience in a complex matrix multi-national organisation.
  • Being able to speak French and/or Italian would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, influence, persuasion and project management skills
  • Comfortable making decisions for change, where limited information may be available.
  • Proven track record of delivering value-added improvement/transformations in a Procurement setting.
