Salary:                  Up to £56,000 P/A d.o.e. + benefits (plus Overtime, Flexi and Bonus)

Hours:                  37 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced RF Technologist to join an ambitious, highly regarded, scientific engineering / manufacturing business that are in a position of sustained growth.

Working as part of the RF Technology team you will be working across a range of theoretical studies, design tasks and practical experiments to develop world leading RF Direct energy technologies and systems.

As a RF Technologist you will be involved in the whole product lifecycle, from bid to customer delivery of a multitude of differing projects which typically run from between six months to two to three years making your work interesting and varied. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of RF Directed Energy technologies and systems based on Pulsed Power RF or microwave applications with involvement in design, electromagnetic modelling circuit analysis and experimental assessments.

Skills Required:

  • A graduate or experienced engineer with a strong engineering or science background and ideally having a higher degree (e.g. Masters or PhD) in a related discipline
  • Ability to work in a flexible manner to deal with fluid programme milestones and timescales
  • Able to plan, implement and report on practical laboratory investigations
  • Able to operate computer simulation codes effectively

You will need to obtain UK Security Clearance for this role. This will require you to either be a UK Citizen or Dual UK Citizen. Some restrictions may apply.
