Supplier Planner
Location: Bolton
Salary: Up to £34,000

We’re working with an award-winning, world-leading, technical & scientific engineering organisation, with sites across Europe, that have an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Planner.
The Supplier Planner role:
Within this exciting role, you will play a significant part in the development of Supplier Planning activities, aligning to the Oliver Wight Class A standards? As the business continues to develop its Operational Excellence process, an opportunity has arisen to work within the Major Equipment Procurement (MEP) business, with close working relationships with Manufacturing Operations. You'll have specific supplier/category opportunities to drive improved delivery and inventory performance. The business is fully behind this important initiative and so it is a perfect time to deliver some significant change and improvements.
Supplier Planner skills and experience required:

Working in an MRP Planning background
-
Experienced at working with a large ERP system, ideally SAP

Experience of liaising with suppliers and Purchase Orders, as well as within a manufacturing environment

Experience of working with suppliers and scheduled orders/PO`s

Ideally experience of working with suppliers as well as within a manufacturing environment with an ability to negotiate to meet deadlines

Collaborator management

Ability to have a full-picture view and work cross-functionally

Continuous improvements mind-set

Problem-solving skills

Experience of working with/ Implementation of Air Supply would be a distinct advantage

CPIM or prepared to work towards it
